Sanjeeva Shivesh

Smart Wave Education is led by Sanjeeva Shivesh, who has 18 years of experience in the area of strategy, finance, investments, supply chain, project leadership, contract management and procurement.
Sanjeeva has worked as an entrepreneur, a civil servant (IRAS), a strategy consultant in a Big 4 firm and as private equity professional. He has deep experience of infrastructure sector, mainly transportation, real estate and education in India, UK and EU. He has led special township project at Nagpur and worked on Railway Bridges Rebuilding Programme, Public Private Partnerships of Pipavav Railway, New Cross Country Rail Franchising deal and Birmingham Airport privatization deal in the UK as well as consultant for Olympics 2012 Transport strategy.
Sanjeeva is a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and MBA from Cranfield School of Management in UK and has worked with organizations like Indian Railways, Booz Allen Hamilton and FIRE Capital Fund.


Chandrani Parihar
General Manager - Business Development

Chandrani has more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in pharmaceutical and insurance sectors. She has worked as Sales Manager to , Territory Manager, Area Sales manager, Market Planning and Business Development activities for reputed companies like Pharmacia and Upjohn, Zydus Cadilla, Hetero, Alembic and GenX in areas of Gujarat, Maharastra and Goa, including National Sales Manager for Hetro and Group Product manager for Genx. Chandrani is a B.Sc in Chemistry and MBA in Marketing and Finance from B.I.T Mesra.

  • Amit Kaushik

    Amit Kaushik is currently Chief Operating Officer at PRATHAM, India's largest education sector Non Governmental Organization. Previously, he was CEO, Shriram Educare and almost 20 years in the Civil Service. He is India's leading expert on 'inclusive education' and has consulted extensively in India and abroad. As Advisor to this program, Amit continuously reviews the program from the perspective of innovation, thought leadership and quality of delivery. He is MA (Economics) from Punjab University.

  • Subir Kumar

    Subir Kumar has over 15 years of professional experience as an entrepreneur, product marketer and IT project manager. He is the founder of Credence Hospitality LLC in USA and has worked with firms like Compuware Corp. and Syntel. Subir is an MBA from Stephen M Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, USA and M. Tech, IIT Bombay.

  • Sameer Rastogi

    Sameer Rastogi is a leading lawyer in India and an Advisor at Smart Wave. Currently, he is Chairman and Partner at India Juris - International Law Firm. He has advised and represented clients from almost all the major countries in various business sectors. His areas of practice includes Corporate laws, Foreign Exchange Laws, FDI, JVs, Foreign Collaborations, M&A, International Taxation, Venture Capital & Private Equity, ESOPs & IPRs. He also heads Sports Law practice of the firm. He is also president of Society for Technology & Intellectual Property (STIP). He is practicing Advocate and also a registered Patent & Trade Mark Attorney.
