KITE Program is especially designed for teens in school. KITE’s mission is to sow the seeds of entrepreneurship in a child. We believe that the character building of a person happens in School. If a child gets an encouragement for entrepreneurship at School, he is more likely to turn an entrepreneur. KITE develops business sense in the teenagers and encourages students to pursue their idea. The program helps remove the fear of Entrepreneurship and helps discover a child’s potential as an entrepreneur.In addition, the programme helps build critical thinking, analytical and negotiation skills in a child.

Lessons learnt in KITE will help children throughout their life. KITE seeks to provide students with the skills, tools, and mindsets to enable them to discover opportunities upon which entrepreneurial ventures can be built.The program is very interactive and involves lot of team work, where students work in the group of 3-5. This program seeks to build students’ real-world business sense, and develop their presentation skills and their abilities to persuasively articulate.

The program makes a student don the cap of an Entrepreneur. In a simulated environment, the program takes a student from ideation phase to financing and sale/marketing stage. This program will culminate into “KITE Entrepreneurship Challenge”, where groups make products and sell it in the simulated market.Post completion of KITE Program, the child becomes a Member of KITE Network. The child remains eligible to seek further assistance from Smart Wave mentors. 25% of the revenue from KITE Program goes to Smart Wave Education Fund. The fund provides initial seed capital for high potential ideas coming out of KITE Program.
